Questions before you connect
What is the Dopamyn MCP server?
A remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://mcp.dopamyn.ai/mcp. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another assistant that supports MCP, and the assistant can work your Dopamyn workspace: find crypto accounts and leads on X, read your X Chat inbox, draft replies, and run and report on DM campaigns.
Do I need a Dopamyn subscription?
Yes. Without an active subscription the server turns every request away. The assistant gets the same access your account has: X Chat tools need an X account connected in Dopamyn, and features your plan does not include stay unavailable.
Is there an API key?
No. When the assistant connects, you sign in with your Dopamyn account (OAuth). That sign-in links the assistant to your workspace. To stop it, remove the connector in your assistant.
Can the assistant send DMs without asking me?
The sending tools tell the assistant to get your OK on the exact message, the recipients and the sending account before each send, to preview a campaign before it launches, and never to send in a loop. Drafting never sends. Your assistant is the one that follows those instructions, so read what it shows you before you approve.
Does the assistant read my messages?
Only when you ask it to. To summarize your inbox or draft a reply, the assistant reads the decrypted messages of your connected X accounts. Disconnecting an account, deleting a saved PIN, deleting a template and syncing leads from your inbox are permanent, so the assistant asks you to confirm each one first.
Which assistants work with it?
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in. That includes Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT and Cursor.
