People who follow several of your rivals are already sold on the category.
That shared audience is the warmest cold audience a project has, and new people join it as your rivals post and ship. Most teams pull the overlap once and never look again; this play saves it as a live list and messages each new arrival once.
For: Growth teams at crypto projects with clear rivals
Ask who your rivals share
Add the accounts you compete with to one watchlist and open Common audience. Pick a question and the table is filtered and sorted for it.
- The core audience, People with real influence, People who work in crypto or Investors watching
- Performance, Common audience and Monitor their activity over a 7D, 30D or 90D window
- Keep the watchlist small and genuinely comparable, so the overlap means something
Save it live, DM each arrival once
Narrow the table with filters and save it with no rows ticked, so the list keeps adding accounts that match. Bind an Auto DM campaign to it and new shared followers are queued on their own.
- Add to list with no rows ticked saves a Dynamic list that keeps its filters
- Keep this campaign in sync with the list: current members and future additions, or only members added after launch
- Dopamyn re-reads the list on a schedule and queues anyone who has joined since
Nobody gets the pitch twice
Anyone the campaign has already queued or sent to is skipped, even if they leave the list and rejoin later. The campaign page names the list it follows and when it was last checked.
- A green Watching list status under Running until you pause it
- If someone leaves the list, cancel their unsent DMs is on by default, after two missed checks
- Results follows every message from Queued to Sent, Replied and Interested
Fine print, up front
- Auto DM sends from your own connected X account through X's official API. No cookies, no proxies.
- All sender accounts must be X Premium, and people who don't accept DMs from accounts they don't follow are skipped.
- The sync switch only appears for a dynamic list. Static lists, merged lists and lists over 10,000 members can't be followed, and Common Fans always saves as a static list.
- A synced campaign never finishes on its own, so it can't be deleted or rerun; pause it instead.
- If Dopamyn can't follow the list safely, for example when the DM quota is exhausted, it pauses the campaign, shows the reason and waits for you to resume.
